It has been a while since I have shared my thoughts here on my blog, so I want to go ahead and say welcome, again! For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Nick. I was first licensed as a real estate agent in 2004 and have been working in the southwest region of Idaho ever since. I primarily cover Weiser, Cambridge, Midvale, Indian Valley, and Council, ID. I have worked helping buyers and sellers in diverse markets of residential, farm and ranch, commercial, and bare land properties.
My wife and I moved our children to Indian Valley in August of 2000. We were looking to raise our children in a small community with a smaller school system. We wanted the chance to really know our neighbors and to be a part of a true community, which is exactly what we got!
Over the last two decades, I have been able to immerse myself in the local community. I was president of the Chamber of Commerce in Council, the vice-president and training officer for the Indian Valley Fire Department, the vice-president of the Indian Valley Community Hall, an assistant coach for the Cambridge High School Football Team, and president of the Cambridge Commercial Club. For the last ten years, I have been on the Cambridge School Board where I currently serve as the board chair. Since 2017 I have served as the region 8 vice-chair of the Idaho School Board Association which serves 15 school districts and was recently promoted to chair. I am a founding member of the Upper Country Education Foundation and truly enjoy supporting our students.
When not selling, listing homes, or volunteering, you will find me doing one of my many DIY projects around my home. I hope to post my DIY projects here on the blog in the future. I am currently working on refinishing the handrail in our stairwell. I am stripping the paint off of original woodwork in our home that was built in 1906. My goal is to finish before spring break so my wife will let me start another project!
In 2018 I opened my office at 55 N Superior Street. I would love for you to drop by, have a cup of coffee, and chat about real estate! As I am a small business, I do not have a receptionist, so please give me a call first! I do, however, have another realtor in the office. I am so happy that Linda Momberg has joined me!
